Please can someone assist - i have watched and followed ALL four of Tullid1's Mini Cooper Convertible Top Repair (AND THEY ARE GREAT - easy to follow) My question is what is the part number or how can i replace the "LOCKING MECHANISM" that is noted in video 1 pf 4 at 5:41 and video 4 of 4 at 7:41 which is in the MIDDLE of the convertible top (not the front locking mechanisms (picture attached!). Also if you have any info on how to REPLACE them that would be most helpful as it seems mine are not MISSING! Current condition is that top will open to sunroof and then NOTHING - and no red blinking lights and just to confirm we hardwired both microswitchs in the rear. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!


Resolution: This hook was part of the R52 but (and forgive me i forget when) the part was removed - mine is a 2007 from May and didn't have this part! THANKS
