For sale is my single owner 2006 MINI Cooper S. The MCS has been optioned and lightly modified with an eye towards an “OEM Plus” look and excellent street performance without sacrificing reliability. Key modifications include Invidia cat-back exhaust, Helix 15% reduction supercharger pulley, Hotchkiss 19mm rear sway bar, and KONI Special Active shocks. As anyone who has driven these cars knows, it is quick, sounds great, and handles like it is on rails. I will miss this car a lot and am selling it with mixed feelings, but no longer have space to keep it as a 3rd car. Car is in Cambridge, MA.

History
The car was a custom order in 2006 and since delivery has lived in the Baltimore, MD (through 2013) and Boston, MA areas (2013 – present). Routine service performed by MINI of Baltimore (2006-2013), Herb Chambers BMW/MINI (2013-2019), and German Performance Service, Inc. (2019-present). Performance modification work (detailed below) was performed by Helix Motorsports in Philadelphia, PA [[url]https://store.helix13.com/1st-generation-2002-2006/] or German Performance Service [[url]http://www.germanperformanceservice.com/mini-service/]. Car was autocrossed for one season (stock class) in 2007 and has never been tracked. Current CARFAX is available and corroborates the above.

Last full service was in January 2021. Pre-sale inspection at German Performance Service on September 20, 2021 received a clean bill of health. Car has 90,8xx miles and will not see significant additional mileage added.

- OEM MINI rubber floor mats, front and rear
- GROM audio Bluetooth audio adapter [[url]http://gromaudio.com/]. Allows use of Bluetooth or wired iPod/iPhone music players and navigation guidance through the stock H/K head unit, completely hidden.

2012:

2014:

- 205/50ZR-16 Continental ExtremeContact DWS installed

2016:
- Rebuilt motor in 2016 (at 72k miles) by Helix Motorsports when the chain tensioner and harmonic balancer were failing. Water pump, thermostat, power steering lines, plugs, and clutch were all replaced pre-emptively at the same time as preventative maintenance. No mechanical issues since.

2018:
- Bumpers resprayed to correct scratches

2021:
- KONI Special Active shocks [[url]https://www.koni.com/en-US/Cars/Products/Performance/Special-Active/] installed at German Performance Service. For those unfamiliar, these are the successors to the KONI FSD and are (in my opinion) the perfect street shock. Stock ride height and OEM springs remain.

Active issues/problems
- Paint is in overall good condition, but has the blemishes expected in a 15-year-old driver car. Up close there are small rock chips on the front bumper and hood, some light scratches on the roof (can possibly be buffed out) and some scattered small chips/light scratches elsewhere
- Hood stripes have some stains, could be replaced easily if desired.
- 2 wheels have some mild curb rash/blemishes
- Driver’s seat bolsters showing wear/cracking in the vinyl in the typical places. Easily repaired if desired at an upholstery shop.
