Interior/Exterior neat lil light in my hot pocket console area
neat lil light in my hot pocket console area
I found a neat lil light for my console area that has my "hot pocket".....if I throw something in there or if I search for change that I keep in the cupholder ashtray, there is no light. I found a good light that is extremely small and flat and to turn it on, you press the button and it shuts itself off afer 5 seconds...works great. Bought it at Decathlon Sports for $16.....used sticky-backed velcro to stick it up inside the recessed area just under the toggle switches....called the Photonlight Freedom Micro light....an LED with replaceable batterries.....the bulb comes in a few colors but I chose the white as it still gives off a bluish tinge that lookes like a fluorescent light and gives off enough light to be useful w/o being too bright
How did you mount it? From what I can tell it'd be great if the button was pressed up from the bottom and the light would shine straight down. All the one's I've seen are key-chain types where if you punched the button up from the bottom, the light would come out of the side. Did you mount it on the side of one of the downtubes so the light would point straight down???
Picture, please!

The light is a keychain type light. The bulb sticks out a bit so it throws a very wide beam....I have it stuck to the roof of the console area just behind the toggle switch bank and yes, the light gives a diffuse light that lights up the entire area and onto to cupholders even tho it points sideways at the downtube....so to turn it on, you reach under the toggle switches and press up.....it is in the recessed area behind the molding so the switch itself is absolutely invisible so you have to know by feel where the switch is
