I was out and about last Saturday, and lo and behold an orange R52S drives right by me. I caught up to him and got him to pull over for just a minute for a couple of pics. Didn't figure I'd see another Hot Orange R52S, with a blue top, here in Omaha. He was a friendly guy, (aren't all Cooper owners?), with a cool car.

 

Nice, if it was a Cooper, It would be my twin also. Those hot orange MINIs are super hard to find.

 

Cool pic! I had a real jones for these when that color was new. Dr. Pepper ran a promotion giving away R52s around the same time. I drank so many Dr. Peppers that summer that it ruined me on drinking them forever! Never did ruin me on the car, though...or that color!

 

Love the picture and I really wish I had the orange seats in my Hot Orange R52!
