Description:
Recently removed LED fog lights from my R55 Clubman. These were installed for ~4 years, so they have some "wear" on the lenses. After less than a year of use, the LED DRL ring on one side decided to no longer work properly. Initially, instead of replacing the light, I opted to disconnect the DRL trigger wire, and run these in "Fog" mode for DRL. Ran it like that for the past 3 years with no other issue. Decided recently that I wanted something different, so I removed the kit, and here you have it.
This kit is no longer available as a boxed set from Mini. When it was available, the kit could be purchased for ~$350 or so. ECS will sell you a pieced together kit for $437 with new components. I'll sell you my used kit for $125 plus shipping. (less than the cost of a new control module)
DRL mode. One light ring does not illuminate as described.
Running light mode. Position 1 on the light switch.
Fog lights illuminated. Ran my DRLs in this mode for the past few years.
