oil smoke under hood

Hi All, new to this forum and a new mini owner just picked up a 08 clubman s cool little car always wanted to mess around with one and now I have a chance. I have already solved quite a few issues just by looking around here. Very helpful folks and want to say thank you for all of the knowledge, Before buying the mini i read up on common problems and this one had the classic turbo feed line leak and lots of oil all over the front of the engine I bought it anyway as I was looking for a project.
Got it home and tore the front apart learning many things from, here and youtube. I used the Detroit tuned master kit and replaced all of the seals on oil filter cooler and fitted the nice new braided line that comes with the kit. cleaned as much as I could but being in a cold shop here in Idaho was hard to get it all clean. anyway got it all put back together and took it out for a drive and seems to be running great all fluids changed out zero smoke out of the exhaust but i have oil smoke coming from the turbo when i lift the hood, very slight but noticeable. My Question to you all is what else in that area could I check? the smoke is coming right up from where the little heat shield is that covers the high pressure oil line, there are no signs of leaks in the line I replaced.. I am hoping that I am just burning off existing oil from previous problem and haven't driven the car very far yet but thought I would reach out to you all for any other things to look at
Thanks to all for any help or replies

You will get some smoke from cleaners burning off and such. It should stop soon after you get some heat into things and the cleaners and old oils are gone. If you have any problems, don't hesitate to give us a call.

Thanks for the reply Chad,Your kit is awesome and went together easily once I got things taken apart enough. I grew up in Detroit and Lansing nice to do business with folks who will follow up like you did.
Very impressed
