Belt

How do you figure out what belt size you need? I installed the tvs900 with a 65mm pulley and 2% ati crank pulley. I couldn’t get the supplied belt on with the pin in the first hole, so I compressed the spring more while my son tried to put it around the ac compressor. No go, I even broke the tensioner compression tool at full compression. Now I wait for a new tool, but in mean time I need the proper size belt.

Does the supplied belt have the measurement numbers on it?

Like it'll say 6PK-1374 or whatever, those last 4 digits are the length,
so whatever size you got needs to be slightly larger.

Yes it does. I guess it’s experimental time.

YOWZA!

That tool broke somethin' fierce --- glad you didn't get hurt or anything man, must've been a scary surprise when it snapped that weld.

The whole belt size thing when changin' stuff around is a pain in the patoolie hole.

Stock MCS is 1388.

JCW is 1374.

They sent you 1384 which is somewhere kinda in the middle of those.

Also check your idler pulley mounting point just to be sure because it has happened in the past where it's re-assembled in the incorrect position,
just something to take note of:

Suggest you take that tool to a shop with a good welder. Even if it's off a degree or two, it'll still work.

I already ordered another one, but different brand.
