Automotive Accents Meet
Automotive Accents Meet
Tommy Pike, owner ofAutomotive Accents in Greenville, SC has invited us to visit his establishment on Saturday, February 5 from 11:00 til 2:00. He will have snacks that we can chow down on while he tells about the services he has to offer our membership. Don't forget, we get a 10% discount, too.
Afterwards, we will go on a short motoring adventure, then have dinner. I will be visiting different dining establishments to try and get us a discount and will post more details in a week or two.
It will help me a great deal if I could give Tommy and the resturant an approximate headcount. Soooo, how about everyone let me know around Jan 25 [you can remember this date... it's one month after Christmas] if you can join us.
Automotive Accents is located at 1804 N. Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, SC.

Oh Dang! Two MINI events in one day!!
How to do both??
. Automotive Accents happens early enough, I could do it first, maybe leave around 1:00 and get to Smokey's place around 2:00 and catch the tail end of the fun there!

I may try and join you for the meeting at Automotive Accents, then follow Ed up to Smokey's to say hello.
Tommy at Automotive Accents is a great guy. He has a lot to offer the MINI community besides just window tinting. I know people that make the visit will be surprised at all the things he is able to do. He can do roof decals, stripes, custom electronics (TV and DVD through your factory NAV system), wheels, alarms and more all at a discount to M2C2 members.
Tommy was also the first vendor besides Century MINI to offer us a discount.
I may also try and make it a caravan from Charlotte. It would be a long day, but a fun one. Getting to see some Greenville MINIs, lunch at Automotive Accents and then a great drive up the mountain to Smokey's house. Anyone that was thinking of adding a pulley or sway bars or an areo grill would get some first hand knowledge from stopping their and then a nice drive back to Charlotte.
This will turn out to be 2 great events that can both be done in the same day.

Please let me know by Monday if you are planning to attend. I will be giving Tommy a headcount on Wednesday (1-26-05) so that he has plenty of time to prepare for us. [yeah, RIGHT. Like anyone can prepare themselves for this crazy bunch.
]
Also, please let me know if afterwards you are going to Smokey's pulley party or will be staying for the drive & dinner. If I know there are enough for dinner, I can try and negotiate a discount for us.

Kevin,
LJ and I will be tied up at the PP, wish it hadn't fallen out this way that the 2 event dates clashed, but this was when the most of us could get together.
Would have liked to have gone down to G-ville to see the shop, maybe next time??
