R60 water leaking

Hi folks,

First post in the forum. I am having flooding issue with my 2015 R60s that the mat of the passenger side (especially the rear) are soaking wet. There was quite some heavy rain in the past two days. I thought it was a one time problem so I cleaned it with vacuum and it dried out. Unfortunately the water reappeared again, especially when making a hard right turn. I heard sound of water flow coming from the passenger side whenever I slam on the break, and I assume there is some good amount of water somewhere but I can’t locate it. I have checked my roof and my door, neither of them seems to have problem. Has anyone experienced such before? Thanks in advance!

There are a number of threads discussing water intrusion in the passenger footwell. It's important to find the source and stop it as there expensive control modules in that area that can be killed by moisture. I've not had the problem myself (yet) but one common cause is blocked sunroof drains. A search will provide posts with more detail.
