Good afternoon.

I'm looking to buy a 2014 Clubman S. I've contacted the owner and he has informed me that the FM side of the radio does not work. Wouldn't be an issue for me buy my wife wants FM audio. Any idea what the issue could be and what could I do to remedy? Is this an easy or involved fix?

Any insight on this? I am currently in negotiations with the owner to purchase. I'm willing to repair and/or replace the radio but would like to know what time and $$$ could possibly be involved. Youtube doesn't have a lot of good info on the Clubbie.

 

You can change the radio out. I bought mine from crutchhfield as I have bought many stereos and speakers from them over the years. Customer service is amazing and they will give you step by step instructions on how to change the radio out with options to call for help. They even have an option to build the wiring harness for you, which will save a lot of time. NOW. as for the install itself....... I have changed my fair share of radios out of cars of the years. My 2009 Clubman took all day. At one point, I had to take bolts out of the seat tracks to get the lower console out so could slide the radio in with nether new trim in. Worth it in the long run, but by far the most intensive one I have ever done

 

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately this specific car has been sold. Price was right but I was 500 miles away and couldn't pull the trigger quickly enough.
