Limp Mode

I put a new clutch in my 2004 Mini Cooper S after it sat with the engine out for about 2 months, finally could afford the parts. Put it back together and now it appears to be in limp mode. Won't go over 30mph no power all kinds of lights on the dash. It is a R53 six speed. Any ideas what could be wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Limp Mode

First of all i wish to thank the two people who replied to my post. One scan reveled a code of P1229. After the new clutch was replaced by pulling the engine, my brother noticed the connection to the throttle position sensor was not fully seated, after he pulled it lose noticed three of the six pins where bent, straighten them out plugged it back in and so far it is working no more limp mode. A quicker response from more people in this forum would have been better after a week to fix the problem.

Regards
