Simple Boost Gauge Installation for Leased Cars !

Check out this simple installation if you have a leased car and cannot drill any holes for mounting a gauge.

I bought an Autometer 2 5/8" gauge and mounting cup. Popped the plug out of the hole in the center of the windshield defogger and ran my hose and power through it. On a belt sander grind down the mounting base until it fits snuggly into the second or third defogger slot from the center. You can use the left side or right , I think it looks better on the left.

I've had this setup for a week now and it solves a simple problem of how return this car back to stock when the Lease is up. It does not jiggle or pop out of the slot when driving over rough roads.

Check it out.

3M mounting tape works good too.
