Driver Side Kick Panel / Clutch Master Cylinder

Anyone had any R56 experience in getting to the clutch master cylinder? Looking at an online tutorial the R53 didn't have the additional structure behind the beauty panel. I'm unsure of the process or pieces needed to be removed for proper access.

Thanks for any insight.

I realize this thread is old, but I'm going to reply and hope it helps someone in the future...

Taking the panels out is not necessary. You can reach the two bolts with a ratcheting box wrench. The pivot pin is inserted from the right-hand side, so you will need to pop it out by pushing in it from the left. It has two tangs that ideally you would squeeze together and push the pin in. In reality, you will jam a flathead screwdriver in there and try and push the tangs towards the center and wiggle and eventually it will pop out. It's a real PITA.

Now if someone could just tell me how to re-attached the hose coming from the reservoir, life would be good.
