I’ve got JCW Suspension struts and springs in Marketplace they are from a 2013 R56 JCW. How do i find the compatibility with other years and models ? I have some interested that has a 2007 S R56. Will it work? Is it compatible ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

They will technically bolt up to all second gen cars, except the Countryman and Paceman. They will work better with all R56 cars.

I have had a couple people ask me about the JCW springs supposed to be RED but these came off my 2013 R56 JCW but the are Black. The are listed on my build sheet as Item# 226 Sports suspension. At this point I’m confused as to what it actually is. Could someone actually tell me what suspension I have ?

 

There were actually three different suspensions available: standard, sport, and JCW low-down. The standard is just what it sounds like. The Sport suspension was a stiffer version, but at the same ride height as the standard. The JCW low-down suspension is the red springs, and are stiffer and 10mm lower than the standard. The standard and sport suspension springs are both black.
