I hope someone can help me. I just purchased my first mini, it's a 2015 countryman S all4. It has the navigation system, the issue im having is when using Bluetooth the radio will not show any song information. It just says either various artists or unknown i forget which one. Once in a while it will actually show song info. Im using a galaxy s20 cell phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

that's normal for this car and android phones. (says unknown)
This gen mini (and all previous) was designed for iphones and... IPODS.. yep ipods...
slap an ipod up to it via the usb port and the adapter and you will get all your info. I keep an ipod in the center console loaded with music for road trips. sounds a lot better than bluetooth as well.

 

yeah I kinda figured that was the case since my girlfriends iphone works fine over Bluetooth. I was thinking about getting the andream android auto interface but have been looking around to see if others have tried it in a mini. https://www.android-car-dvd.com/coll...for-bmw?page=2

 

Don't think that one will work for the R60.
There are some chinese android head units that replace the whole speedometer. most are unfortunately in KPH (unless you love in a country that uses KPH.. which then, excellent)
Most of them the audio isn't that good ('Ive tested a couple and returned them as they just sounded bad)
