Been looking for a countryman for a long time. Found this one for ~7k. 185,000 miles. 2013 Model. Timing belt and Turbo just replaced by respectable Mini Shop. Wondering if any other large problems could arise? Not sure how long these things last. Price seems a little high for the amount of mileage on the engine but wanted to get some thoughts.

What year?
If its a late model 2012 (July or later) or newer.. you might be ok. 2011-2010: I wouldn't risk it.
It's all about what people are willing to pay in the area.
I'd try and talk em down to 6-7k just because I'm old and like to haggle.
If you are prepared to work on your own car... might be a fun toy for a while.
If you plan on bringing it to a dealer: Beware that these have lots of little quirks and you can easily outspend that 7k in a year or two..
Mine likes to be on jack stands as much as it is driving. SUPER fun car when its not complaining about something
I don't want to say "Buy it!" because 185k is super high for a 2013, but if you can get it cheap and don't mind wrenching...
I have a late model 2012 with 104k on it.. I put it up on craigslist for $9k one day when I was so frustrated with it I wanted it gone. (Since then we have become friends again.. its a love/hate relationship.)
I was shocked that I had 4 legit emails within a couple hours. (nevermind the 12 actual scam ones.. I love playing along with those)
Yeah, I figured that would be the case. I'm not looking to be wrenching on the thing weekly but thought it may still be worth an attempt to get it for $6k. Thanks for the info!
