Milltek exhaust

Hello, i’m relatively new. I recently put my r57 jcw in helix in philly to have some work done and they reccomended that i run the milltek non resonated exhaust. i was wondering if anyone is running it on an r57? they called me and informed me that the convertible support beam was in the way and that they could you spacers on the beam to make the exhaust fit through it, or the other option was to bend the exhaust under the beam. just wanted to hear some thoughts or if anyone had the same issue. i should be picking it up later today

What was your result? I am just now thinking about putting an exhaust on my r57 S and it seems like I will have the same problem, I will continue to search the forum as well.

They don't fit right on the Cabrio and you can space the rear braces down but it has to have at least a 1 inch spacer and I don't like lowering that much.

For the Cabrio we always recommend the Akrapovic as it has 2 extra mounts that come with the exh and bolt to the existing plate to support the pipe so it will always fit perfect. Yes they cost more, but well worth it for the fit and the sound with no drone.
