It's a bit of a drive, but I found a BMW shop that the owner has a hot rod Mini, and aren't afraid of working on them. All of the guys working are "apparently" ex BMW mechanics/tech's. So they have, or at least had...their BMW credentials. They did some work for me that I didn't have time to do and was happy with their work. Although they don't do wheel alignment, but sent me to guys that they trust. Going tomorrow actually.
And being what I've done for work for the last 40+ years, and my general attitude, I'm fairly difficult to please, ask my friends..!
