Hello Everyone,

I have a maybe a stupid question. This is my first Mini and I have done a lot to it already. When I bought it there was a mismatched door on it and it's not properly seated so the window gets stuck in the groove. My question is I went to a local pick your part and found a matching door color for my Mini in the British Racing Green. The door is from an 07 Mini and I believe it was an S model. Will the door fit? I haven't taken my blue door panel off to see if it will but I believe this door is from a different year as well. I just want to be sure before I go around and take off the door, I was looking at replacements on eBay and found a 02-06 one for about $75.00 with $100 and something in shipping, I want to make sure I do everything right and have no problems in the future with my Mini.

Just a heads up. I swapped passenger doors on my 2002 with a later series 1.
The door actuator did not work and so it had to be replaced which wasn't cheap.
I would suggest putting some sound deadening material in the door as long as the panel is off.
Now my doors sound like a BMW closing instead of twanging like a tin can. It feels like a much more solid car.

Oh, when I had the shop change the door actuator, I had them adjust the window so it would seal properly. It does now, but I have to take it back because the window doesn't go down all the way.
