100 miles on NEW high pressure fuel pump
Just had a HPFP installed on my 2011 R56 Mini Cooper S while traveling in Florida. I left the shop after completed repair in Ocala, Florida. Got 100 miles south & got the CEL and limp mode again! Any idea what could cause this? Driving 70 mph when this happened. After letting it rest for 5-10 minutes, the car started right up & ran fine. Then repeat with CEL.
Not installed correctly or they used one of those ebay china pumps? Was it genuine MINI or one of the direct ones we carry?
