R56 Can you tell which coil will fail?
Can you tell which coil will fail?
Hi all,
A couple of years ago, a coil in my 2013 MINI Cooper failed and was replaced. My car is showing the exact same symptoms from a couple of years ago. My suspicion is that another one of the coils is about to go. My question: Is there any way to figure out which ignition coil is about to fail? I know which one was replaced two years ago, so odds are it isn't that one. But I still have three others to pick from. I'm trying to be proactive and replace the one that may be about to fail now before it completely fails. And to this point the car isn't showing any error codes nor is the OBD bluetooth sensor I have showing any problems.
Thanks.

They are only $69 each. I replace all 4 at the same time. But that's just me
