Will these seats fit my r53 ???

I'm wondering if the seats I pictured below will fit in our r53's.. I would like to get more supportive seats but not break the bank and I actually really like the look of these..

Measurements are for outter edges . These seats fit very well. Only issue I have is that the round adjustment wheel for seat back is so close to door it must be adjusted before closing the door. I could always swap the seats left to right and have adjustment wheels on inside by hump, but thought that would look odd.

I made my own plug....purchased the air bag end of the harness from MINI then soldered in the resistors and just pluged it all together....

I still have some resistors if you need any....

couldn't I just cut it off from my seats ? I'm sure they are of no use anylonger and even then it would be easy to swap over another plug if they wanted.

When I put these in, devices to stop dash codes were both expensive and rare......If you have device to delete it from a line of code all the better !

Ok . Seats are ordered....I got ones with carbon fiber trim.
they come with sliders. So am I going to need to buy these to finish getting them in ? Or can I transfer over the stock stuff as I dont care about butchering up my old stock seats

Nice !
Yes, mine came with sliders attached, only needed the two seat brackets.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/253570238935
For bolts, nuts and washers ONLY use tempered steel hardware. Not stainless steel....
The SS hardware will snap right off in an auto crash..

Got mine from Home Depot I think....been a while....lol.

PS: When seats are out, good time to do the carpet and give it a really good cleaning (if needed....) Battery gets disconnected before starting project, and if using resistor by pass not hooked back up until everything is plugged back in....The error code for seat is not something a scanguage2 or similar can clear....has to be done with more expensive equipment or at dealer.

I plan on having the airbag light turned off via inpa that I'm ordering soon too.

you happen to have the link of the seats? Let us know how they fit and comfort level. Also does it hug you? What’s your size. Height weight would help too. Thank You

I'm 5'11 and 155lb and the seats fit me great. They hug me well and are very comfortable . I couldn't get the tracks to go in but LOVE where the seats ended up having to sit using just the seats and an ebay adapter plate.
I'm also using an after market wheel too.

as the seats sit. They sit pretty low. If your comfortable with the stock seat at it lowest setting ( which I am and I like )
and no, the sliders would not match up at all. I wish I had a welder , I could have maybe just tacked them together .
if you want , I can go get more pics of them installed if ud like.
here's a link to the seats.

you could always bolt those sliders that come with the seats to the floor but ud need to drill the floor. The sliders did not fit onto the r53 seat adapters.
