Drive side sunvisor

The optional one that is offered on the r53 above the drivers window. The question I have is. Are the mount there in a r50 like there is on a r53. I want to add this to my r50. If not i can add them if needed.

It wasn’t an option, it was a standard feature on all facelift cars as far as I know. My R50 has one, and there was no box to check to get it. I don’t know how easy it is to retrofit to the older cars.

A quick google says it's not simple because of the airbags and missing mounting points. I've never looked closely at the differences between pre- and post-facelift cars without the headliner though.
