Air intake and catch can

I'm pleased with the latest mods. I've been catching about 3 or 4 oz per tank of gas.

Catch can

That’s a good amount to catch! Have you noticed a decrease in oil pooling in your Intercooler and other piping?

it looks like he has it on the passenger side which is keeping in out of the throttle body. The drive side would be the one for this, which I’m getting ready for an oil change after I’d did my intercooler so I will let you know if it is an better. Have cut down on oil on inside of air intake pre turbo.

Hey Jason,I'm adding a 2nd one later. I had a leak in the PCV hose, and found a bunch of oil in the hose. So, I figured I would give a catch can a try. so far so good I think.

Yeah this one is my first mini too. but it would seem like a lot of oil dumped back into the intake. I did a CRC Turbo and Intake cleaner. That seemed to clean a lot of gunk off the intake valves. Welcome aboard!

Old thread I know but was curious how many MCS owners jumped on the 2-catch-can train. N18. Or if there is a better way to make upgrades and avoid the cans altogether.

I have 2 installed but only one connected so far, the driver side one. Need to plumb the pass side. I have heard one is for idle, one for boost, which is which?
