Recent repairs at 125k

Just past 125k and have had a recent spate of repairs and maintenance.

New oil filter housing gasket, new rear brakes (rotors/pads/sensor) and a full set of ignition coils and plugs. Oil filter housing sucked to have repaired, not cheap and I was only 1k over my warranty.

Its gets hard to spend on a car this age. I do love it though.

To be honest, that doesn't sound too bad. I have a similar mileage Cooper S All4, and I just replaced the plugs on it. Brakes, too, are just regular maintenance but you didn't mention how many miles you put on the set you just replaced? The only thing that stands out is the oil filter housing gasket but that couldn't have been too expensive to replace?

You are right. For the most part, reasonable consumables. The plugs had been done at 60k, so timimg was on schedule.

I needed a loaner and went to the dealer for the work on the oil filter gasket. So I paid the dealer tax on that one.

I went on a pre lockdown drive today. It was fantastic.
