if you lay the spare tire flat, how high is it? I'm going to put in a false floor for subs/amps in my S and was considering putting a spare under it as well, depending on the height...i need to know how high up the floor would have to go in order to accomodate the spare....

or if there is a non-MINI spare that also fits on an S that is less wide, then what is that one's dimension so i can use it?

 

According to the dimensions I used to make my spare tire bag, the MINI spare is about 5" wide.
