Back in October MINI USA ran a rebate promotion for service and oil changes. I applied and promptly got acknowledgement and tracking number ..... and today the status STILL says "processing."

Asking around locally I find this appears to be the norm .... non-response.

I tried sending a query via the tracking page and it locks up b4 the msg is sent. I've found ONE person who participated in the similar program in the past who says they got a pre-paid card for the amount after numerous calls and then the card had an expiration date in 2 weeks.

I participated in a similar program with Firestone recently and got my card in a couple of weeks and it was good for years.

Has anyone actually collected? Just another MINI USA action that leaves a bad taste . . .

 

Same here. I was already pissed off at service department about issues so I complained to the General Manager of the dealership and they finally cut me a check.

Haven't been back since except to turn in a leased car and show them the flash of a new GTI. Treating customers like crap has consequences, at least in my case.
