Retro-fitting Harman Kardon Audio to an R56

Hi,

I've slowly brought together all the parts that made up the factory Harmak Kardon (HK) audio upgrade, for a 2011 R56-S. Including the front A-pillars & tweeters, door-panel drivers, amp & various brackets.

Now comes the fitting... My 2011 R56-S LCI has the base audio system (with Navigation), so I guess I need to go from the factory head unit > the HK amp and then out from the HK amp to the 10 drivers. But I'm really struggling to find information on what's invloved, specificailly a wiring diagram for what comes out of the factory head unti and where those connectons should go into & out of the HK amp. There are a few HK amp harnesses on eBay atm which I'm close to pulling the trigger on, but they'd still be no use unless i know what to hook up to on the factory head unit (and drivers).

From reading a few accounts from people on NAM who have done the HK retro-fit, the existing door wiring on the base system should be suitable, with the possibility of having to swap-out the speaker connectors themselves to fit the HK drivers.

Any help or advice would be very much apprciated.

Thanks,

Steve

I have to ask why you would want to? There are so many ways to create a better sound system than the under powered HK set up. (Known HK hater - me)

You can look on newtis.info for diagrams if you really need to do this. Best of luck.
