Trim rings

Picking up my 2016 CM tomorrow. I've tried a search for R60 head and tail black trim ring replacement. I saw r56, I'm assuming it's the same. Just pry them off?

when you open the hood you can get to the clips for the rings and that will let you pop them off

I actually tried to pull the trim ring off of the door handle on the interior. I tried using a plastic pry bar and the ring went pop! when it busted. Does anyone have any gouge on how to replace interior trim rings? I will include a photo tomorrow. :-)

i blacked out mine with plastidip in '13ish and they still look good. i prefer the matte look of the dip over the shiney OE rings.
