For OE MCS X Lite, what is best replacement Tire?
Is the Firestone Firehawk GTA a reasonably good tire? how is the handling, grip etc.? has anyone had any experience with this tire? what do people recommend as a nice replacement tire?

If you call and talk to Alex@tirerack you'll find out that the Firehawk GTA 02 isn't the best choice for the MINI. Check out tirerack's ratings.
Some alternatives (All season High Performance tires) to ask about include:
BF Goodrich Traction T/A H 205/55-16 $86 each 440 tread wear rating
Avon M550 A/S(ultra high perf all season) 205/55-16 $76 360 tread rating
Also Bridgestone Potenza
RE 750 (Ultra High perf summer tire) 205/50-16 $108 340 tread rating
RE 950 (all season high perf tire) 205/55-16 $105 400 tread rating
All season tires are good in wet and dry or with light snow.
