My 04 R50 steering is stiff. I can hear the steering pump whine. So I swapped out intermittent shaft on column. Felt some very small binding. Replaced shaft with new one. Seems better. Trying to see what the steering should feel like. Any ideas?

 

Check your VIN to see if you have an open recall on the power steering pump & motor. It's a common issue.
