Tire smoke causes oil light?

Pretty odd situation but I was cruising down the road and suddenly an SUV in front of me slammed on their brakes and pulled their E-brake as well. As they braked super hard, they did light their tires up a bit and a cloud of smoke came behind them and towards my car. As I mildly hit my brakes, the red oil light had come on for a sec then disappeared. No CEL or any other error code followed. I did manage to pull over and check the system info via the tachometer screen. And no warnings other than my LED high-low beam errors were shown.

When i got to my destination, i popped the hood and checked my dipstick to see that it was at the adequate level. Could this be an odd trigger point for the oil pressure sensor? has anyone else had this happen?

just for reference, I am driving a ‘13 R56S with 66k miles on the clock. Oil change was done 1500 miles ago as i do them every 3000.

Most likely just hit the brakes so hard the oil sloshed in the oil pan and caused the light to flick on. I wouldn’t worry to much about if it if went back off.

Check your oil level. If hard braking caused a light, it's too low.
