New Motor

Hello NAM,

I am hoping someone would be able to direct me on where to find a new or used motor for a 2007 MCS that is a reasonable price.
it is for my sons car and he is willing to help me rebuild one if needed. his has 2 cylinders destroyed from when the previous owner overheated it.
At the very least we need a block and pistons, but hope to find a good running used motor or a whole car that is wrecked but still ran.

if anyone has any idea where to check preferably near northeast Ohio we would appreciate it. we have checked the local salvage yards and Mini's very hard to find.
we are now checking with auctions like Copart but hope to find a private seller or salvage yard.

Thanks

We've bought an engine from LKQ and several of my friends and they are very good about standing by their warranty:
