JCW Brakes Retaining Clip Lubrication Question

Do I need to lubricate any sections on the back of the retaining clip where it touches the brake pads like on the area I outlined in my photo below in yellow? Didn't find any info about this.

So I just upgraded my 2013 R56 S brakes to the Brembo 4-piston brakes over the holiday weekend. I ended up using the included EBC brake lube which looks like copper anti-seize lightly on the following locations:

1. Back of brake pads
2. The sides of the brake pads which contact the caliper
3. The bare metal part of the caliper where the brake pads slide
4. The front part of the retaining clip where the pins contact the clip
5. The length of the pins

Keep in mind that wherever you apply grease, contaminates will stick to it and accumulate over time thickening the lube making it into a pasty, abrasive dirt. I've replaced pads in these calipers many times and only apply a very light film of grease to the pins.....nothing else. I've never had any issues....never. EBC brakes already have silencing pads on the back so why do you need grease? The retaining clip doesn't need lube either. Some mechanics gook these areas up with grease which is just not necessary. The rear brakes only need a cleaning and fresh lube applied on the slide pins on the inside of the bellows, as these bellows will help prevent the lube from getting contaminated. Hope this helps.
