Hiiii

I hadnt driven my car for a while. I started it everything was superb. Nearing the end of my 10 mile trip. It would try to stall when idling. Stopped the car for 2 hours started it. Same issue. I tried to drive thinking it may be just some bad gas causing a misfire( bad gas is common here). The car seemed to struggle a bit but wouldnt act up if I applied throttle. It pulled great and everything. Coming to a stop though it would try to stall again. Especially if i disengage clutch. When I parked back home. Everything was back normal. Pulled my code reader. Seem to have a P2177. A lean issue. Tried to find a vacuum leak but couldnt.
Any ideas?

How long did it sit for? Without anything else to go on, my guess would be a vacuum leak somewhere as well. They are not always easy to find! I’ve been chasing a small leak for a while now

 

Check your PCV diaphragm. If it’s torn, you will have a vacuum leak at the left rear corner of the valve cover, from the little cap thingy there. If it is only the diaphragm you don’t have to replace the entire valve cover anymore, there is a fix available. Otherwise check the vacuum lines, pump, reservoir, boost tubes and so on.
Vacuum lines can look ok, especially with the braided fabric over them, but can become cracked, or oil soaked and come off.

I have an S. Thus, the hellish n14. Can I still change just the diaphram?
I just find it weird why it went after a while? If it were a leak why go away?
