Installed in my F56 last week. Very nice and well made. Will confuse a valet or anyone you loan the car to. I hated the indicator light at night so for me it was a factor in buying it.
I have one in my F60 and love it! I thought it might bother me to lose the light too, but the gear indicator is still on the tach, so no big whoop. One cool thing about it is it lowers the shift lever pretty significantly too.. probably a couple inches. I feel that my hand rests on the shift **** much more naturally now.
