I just wanted to share an email that was sent to me from Steve at Hendrick MINI to all the M2C2 MINIs that stopped by on Saturday.


Dear George,

I just wanted to thank you and your club from the bottom of my heart for your strong show of support on Saturday at our dealership. I can't begin to tell you of how many customers commented on the excitement and passion your club members brought to their experience in visiting the dealership!

My last customer I dealt with for the day (they bought an S) told me personally that she couldn't believe that a person could have so much fun with an automobile. My reply to her was that she had not purchased just any car but an automobile with a storied legacy with which she and her husband can be proud of!

Thank you again for bringing your club and envigorating spirit to what was a very successful Saturday.

That's so nice of them!


Now I just have to call to see if they are going to have anything on the lot Friday... I really wanted to see the new place but my mom wants to actually look to buy and wants to see as many as she can.

 

My wife and I had to switch cars yesterday (Monday) - she has a Lexus RX300 - because hers has a trailer hitch on it, and I had to pick up a lawn mower I bought in Charlotte with our utility trailer. She got to drive (for the first time) Miss MINI home to Albemarle from Charlotte. I got a call from her on the cell phone ~4:30. She said she was stopping by Hendrick MINI on the way home. First thing I thought was "what did she break?". She then said "I WANT ONE!". And then "This car is FUN to drive - I can't stop grinning!"

1. Hendrick - y'all had better stock up. My wife is NOT getting Miss MINI.
2. Can I fight dirty?
3. If it comes down to it - will she get co-visitation rights?

We had a good time meeting y'all. Sorry we had to leave early to pick up our grandson.

 

That was nice of him, George. Did you send him a link to the pics taken there? They might want to print some of them out to hang around the dealership.

I talked to Steve yesterday to ask if I could post his email. I gave him our website and while we were talking he went online to look at it. I will call him and make sure he saw the pictures.

I already told her that there's a local club. She's in Columbia.

I told her how much fun we have with ours up here and that MINI people are THE best. She's not quite as "spritied" at driving as I am so her interests in the car is a little different.... but omg... how cool would it be to be a TWO MINI family!!

 

m2c2 has a chapter in Columbia, and in Greenville and in Asheville and in Raleigh and in the Triad and hopefully in Charleston and in... Well, you get the idea!!!

I was at Hendrick this morning and they had about 10 cars. They are expecting 4 convertibles this afternoon.

This should give your mom a pretty decent selection.

Yeah... we're heading up there Friday morning. One of the MA's from Hendrick messaged me... how nice.

Mom is super excited. She's definately going to order one if she decides to buy though... she doesn't want it for a few more months. She's sooooo excited though. I think I've got her about 80% convinced and once she drives it she'll be hooked.
