I have a million (well, not quite) questions regarding the compatibility of the not-yet-available official MINI iPod adapter and Sirius satellite radio for the 2005 model year.

Does anyone have details on this? Can I connect the iPod adapter to the Sirius module/head unit and still use the MFSW for controlling both? Will the Sirius info display on the head unit? I know the iPod track info will not.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

 

The iPod adapter has an extremely limited availability, and the 2005 version of the Sirius adapter isn't available yet, until MINI straightens whatever technical issues their having with Sirius I doubt anybody will be able to answer what works with what yet.

However on the Siruis for 2004's and earlier, station and song information does display on the headunit... I would imagine once the 2005 version comes out it will be the same.
