Hi all,

I'd like to express my dissapointment about not being able to get xenon headlights for my '03 MCS here in Sydney. My dealer in Rushcutter's Bay has informed me that they do not retro fit xenons for MINI's. :(

Which is quite sad because i paid the same price for my car in September 2003 which can get me the Chilli pack today (which includes xenon lights).

Retrofitting Xenons to a non-xenon equiped car is not as easy as swapping 04 for 05 xenons. The Xenon cars have an extra washer fluid resevoir for the headlight washers, plus the piping and motors for it, plus Xenons must have the self-leveling sensors and motors that aren't in a regular car. The motors and sensors MAY be incorporated in the light unit (I honestly don't know) but if not, you're opening a big can of worms.
