Cd Disc Changer

Anybody know of an aftermarket cd disc changer that can be controlled through the use of the stock radio or if it can be programmed to do so??!?!?

(Not sure at this point I want to spring for the 600-some-odd-dollars that MINI charges for theirs. )

I paid $250 on ebay for my stock MINI changer, works great. If your willing to take the chance that is probably your best bet to get true intregration.

Alpine makes CD changers (also with mp3 playback capability) that can be controlled through the stock head unit using adaptors. One of many discussions about how to do this is here .

Does the factory MINI changer also have MP3 playback capability?
