Having played around with a lot of 2.2-2.5L Chrysler engines I can say that they are almost stupid simple to make quick, not to mention cheap to do so, especially compared to tuning MINIs!

I had a '93 Chrysler Phantom in Mexico City, which was basically a turbo'd 2.4 l LeBaron Coupe with a few factory engine tweaks. (Not available in the U.S.)

It was actually pretty dang fast..

That was awesome! Reminds me of a while back when a I saw a mustang 5.0 get owned by an old school toyota Cressida! (I think the Cressida has a turbo supra motor under the hood).

I think the same day there were 2(!) late 80's turbo Caravans running low 13's w/NOS. THAT is funny.
