Serpentine belt replacement question

Continuing to perform maintenance on my used CMS with unknown service history. Next up is the serpentine belt. I’ve seen the instructions that require removing the right front wheel well liner. Doesn’t sound too bad. But I’ve also seen references to replacing the belt from below. Made it sound as if removing the liner is not necessary. Has anyone done this? Does it save time and effort? Thanks.

Taking off the rt front wheel and pulling back the liner, then use the tool and it can be done in 15min. Here are the belt tools you need

Thanks for your reply. I think I misinterpreted what was meant by accessing the belt from below. I took it to mean from under the car. I now realize it’s through the wheel well as opposed to via the top of the engine bay.
