i have a 2013 base mini r56 with less than 20k miles but have no maintenance history on it. im interested to know what i can expect in terms of timing chain failure , water pump issues and whatever else i should know.
is bmw paying for anything now? the issues related to this car seem terrifying.

 

Check the Gen2 FAQ, has a link to where you can pull all the TSB information. N16 has been pretty reliable, it was the N14 with all the problems.
