2014 R57 Convertible Frame (Passenger Side) veering slightly to left on closing

I recently purchased a 2014 R57 and I’ve noticed that sometimes when I go to close the convertible roof the right side / passenger side Frame of the roof doesn’t go directly into the latch assembly, but wants to veer slightly to the left. This is an easy enough fix to do while in the car, I just gently grab the frame and help “guide” it into position.

I should point out that the driver's side frame always hits the mark. It's only the passenger side.

But I was wondering if there is something I could adjust to prevent this from happening at all?

Has anyone had this experience and could offer suggestions it’d be most appreciated!

Thanks very much!

Hi there!
No, I did not. My mechanic said he could take a look at it and try to troubleshoot it out. But it doesn’t leak currently, and provided I just guide it ever so slightly into the slot when closing it works fine. I worried that perhaps having it inspected might cause further problems so for the moment I’ve left it as is, and treat it like a quirk of the car.
