Can I have access to rear coilover stiffness **** from trunk?

Hi,

I installed Tein Street advance Z coilover on my roadster S recently, which I can control the stiffness of coilover by turning the dial on top.

Front coilover **** is very easy to access, just open the hood.

However, to change the setting on rear coilover, it looks like I have to disassemble rear coilover from body all the way to turn the dial on top of the coilover.

Is it possible to have access from trunk to coilover mount?

Has anyone done this before?

Please give me some advice!!

Thanks all,

Yeah, you have to drill a hole in the area where the **** will be. What I did is took apart the rear shock so that the spring is off. I bolted the top hat or plate on the car and used the bushings to guide the shaft of the shock up until it hit the "top". Make sure to mark the top of the shaft of the shock with a marker or nail polish so when it hits it leaves a mark. After that I removed everything, and drilled a 1 inch hole. I'm sure you could just remove the shock and guess where to drill but I did this hoping/thinking it would get me "close". It worked for me.

I just realised u said you have a roadster I missed that part. I'm hoping the trunk area is the same a my hardtop as far as the access panels on either side that let me get to where the holes will be after being drilled.

Thanks for the advice.
I pulled up the ISTA to see the body frame of roadster, I understand what you were saying.
The circle in the picture is the where the rear coilover is attached, so I will try your method to drill the hole out.

Again, thank you for the advice!

When you open your trunk are there two little doors or covers on either side? The one side has the amp for the radio and the other side is just open space. I'm not familiar with the roadsters.
