R60 Car hops on rough roads

Car hops on rough roads

New mini owner (stock '15 Countryman S All4) and I'm surprised how much the car hops in turns when you hit a rough spot. Actually jerks the steering wheel. Is this "normal" for the ride or is this something that I can "fix" either through original or modified parts? Much thanks... want to enjoy car on all roads!

Its normal for our cars. Its not a great feeling at all. Its from the run flat tires.

I was hoping I would hear “replace your shocks with....”. Any suggestions for modifications?

This. We have the exact same issue with my wife's Countryman.

Ditch the runflat sand get normal tires, either now or once the runflats are worn .

OEM runflats car hopped around.
Toyo winter non runflats, car hops around.
Continental DW06 non runflats, car hops around.

The great myth of changing out to non RF tires is in my experience a bunch of bs. Just drove the car for the first time in months today and noticed it right away.
