After luckily averting a potential PITA and the wrath of the right seater when a valve stem failed in the middle of 100 degree plus nowhere, I immediately purchased a donut spare from Waymotorworks. I securely store it on the folded down portion of the back seat or behind the drivers seat if more room is need. That event quickly convinced me that all the tire repair kits in the world would not have solved that dilemma or prevented deja vu all over again. I can most assure you, from first hand experience, that a donut spare is the most cost effective investment yet made for our peace of mind while on the road.
