F54 Aftermarket parts
There is a link on the bottom of my signature that will show you all 24 vendors that are here on NAM. If there is an aftermarket parts that will work and not break on day 1, chances are they will know about them.
You may be surprised how much a difference in handling you can make for not much money. A rear sway bar should be high on your list if you like cornering.

any chance you could direct me to a website for the items you mentioned. I’ve never put aftermarket parts on a vehicle I owned before. Since getting the Mini I keep getting asked if I am going to. So I guess it’s time to 😁

I've been hot rodding cars since 1957 and have tried all sorts of things but the best bang for the bux (approx $500) has been what I listed.
Even if you have NO mechanical experience it will only take you 1/2 hr. to do both mods; they are undetectable and easily returned to stock form. Should you sell the mini you could remove the parts and get $300 second hand.
The enjoyment of nailing the loud pedal relative to bux & time is well worth it with none of the hassles car modding ensues.
See WHINES post for listings of reputable suppliers.
