Probably a load of stuff. Why not read through some of the threads and then come back with some specific questions. In the meantime strongly consider a professional Pre Purchase inspection by a qualified mechanic who knows MINIs. Also get the service history from the seller &/or dealer or both.
Most are autos, I have been looking for one also. If its a manual, make sure the clutch is still strong. I would get a PPI before hand.
