Post Countryman new wheels

I have a buddy selling wheels that have the same bolt pattern as the countryman. I am getting coilovers soon and will be putting a slight offset on them. The wheels he's selling are 5x100 18x9.5 +38. My question is if 9.5 would be too wide for the countryman, any ideas?

The Countryman can take much wider wheels but it will poke.

R60 is 5x120, the F60 is 5x112.
